Who may join IWPedigrees?
IWPedigrees is intended for Irish Wolfhound breeders who are not interested in compiling their own Irish Wolfhound pedigree database but need access to pedigrees. Irish Wolfhound breeders may use the database to study pedigrees of possible stud dogs or new breeding stock. They may also use the database to generate pedigrees of their own dogs to display on their website and to create pedigrees of their planned litters for potential puppy buyers. IWPedigrees memberships are limited in number at this time.
I have my own database, may I use IWPedigrees to fill in the blanks?
No, the IWPedigrees database is not available as a source of data for other databases. Nothing from the IWPedigrees database may be copied into your database.
I'm interested in buying an Irish Wolfhound puppy. May I use IWPedigrees to search for a puppy?
No, IWPedigrees is for Irish Wolfhound breeders only. You should contact breeders and ask them for pedigrees of their upcoming litters. Only the breeders can tell you why they chose to breed one dog to another, what the goals of their breeding program are, what qualities they expect to have in their puppies and what their criteria for puppy homes includes.
How much does it cost to join IWPedigrees?
The IWPedigrees membership fee is $80 per year.
How can I join IWPedigrees? How can I send my payment?
First, you must agree to the Terms and Conditions of Use. Then you may fill out the membership form - click here. If approved, you will be sent, by email, instructions for making payment. Payment is through PayPal and a PayPal account is not required. When your payment is received, I will activate your login, you will be notified by automated email and can start using the site immediately.
Is IWPedigrees available to researchers?
Researchers should send an email, explaining their research and what they would like from IWPedigrees.
